Haymaking at Howell Living Farm

  • Howell Living History Farm (map)

Howell Farm will be making hay while the sun shines on Saturday, May 28. In addition to the horse-powered mowing, raking, and gathering hay typical of the farm's nominal 1900 time period, hand tools like scythes, rakes, and forks will be at work as we show how farmers put up forage for their animals' sustenance in wintertime.
